Mystery Science – online platform for K-5. Mini-lessons are digital and short (15-20 minutes).

National Film Board – NFB’s website offers a wide range of short- and feature-length films. From animation, and documentary to fiction, there’s a little something for everyone, for free, on their site.

Newsela – differentiated reading resources. The fastest way to get access would be to have teachers each visit the coronavirus resource center, and click “Get instant access.”

Offline Activities – chart temperature and weather, observe cloud patterns, chart your sleep, experiment with which type of music you play that helps you clean your room or focus for studying, search the fridge for mold growth and help your family out by cleaning it out (with gloves), study patterns in plants by collecting leaves and doing rubbings with a crayon/pencil to observe details.

Videoconference Events (archived)- Students can learn from experts around the world. Share an archived REPLAY link of the specific event to students (from the Telepresence Project GSheet) while adding specific questions or an activity (like using the “I Notice, I Wonder” Brainstorm on a GDoc or to respond within Flipgrid) to accompany the VC.
